Teen Dream Hairstyles

Teen Dream Hairstyles

Teenagers operate under a lot of peer pressure. They want to be independent and free but not so out of it they stick out. Of course there is always the exception to the rule. Some teens want to be noticed and will do about anything to attract attention. If that means a far out punk hair style, so be it. But generally, teens will follow trends. They watch MTV and are inspired by the hair styles there. Also they watch popular teen performers and tend to copy their hair styles and their style also.

An active teen may just prefer a simple hair style that won’t get in their way. If they play tennis or swim or engage in gymnastics or other intense sports they want something that is easy to take care of that still will look nice. They also operate under peer pressure so probably will look like the other athletes they hang out with.

Teen hair grows quickly as it still is young hair so if they decide to try something way out be assured it will grow back fast. Teens seem to be enchanted with multi colored hair. They put several different colors on top of a ragged spiked look. Purples and pinks seem to be popular also.

Often they match their nail color to their hair color.
Teens also cut out pictures from magazines and copy those styles also. If the hair style is not so far you might let them give it a try.

ASIAN PIXIE CUT 2010

ASIAN PIXIE CUT 2010

Asian women are known as some of the most beautiful women in the world. They’re petite, dainty, and have hair that is sleek, straight, and always stylish. Pixie cuts look great on Asian women (even some of the men, such as the J-Rock stars!) and always are guaranteed to attract attention.

ASIAN LONGER PIXIE HAIRCUT FOR 2010

Pixie cuts bring out fine features and draw attention to the eyes. They also work perfect for those who have straight hair. This is why they work great for Asians, as they have everything pixie cuts do best with. Pixie cuts range from three inches to as short as half an inch, depending on the person and the area of the hair. These styles are easy to care for and a lot of them are short enough you can just run your fingers through them to style them. Sometimes color is added with highlights, ranging from subtle tones that highlight naturally black hair to bright pinks.

Pixie cuts are layered and normally stop at the nape of the neck (or just below.) They are shaped around the ears and a little longer front to frame the face. Bangs are fringed and there is lots you can do with fringes – from having your bangs play peek-a-boo with your eyes to curling them. These cuts are very adaptable and your stylist can help you decide how to best wear one.
